This is our last class ! We are in the second day of finals and I can not wait for them to be over. I have taken two and have two more on Thursday. Tomorrow I have a day off so I will be using it to study. Next week I start my summer classes, but they seem like they will go by fast because it ends on June 25th I believe. Well I hope everyone does great on the rest of their finals .. GOOD LUCK !!

Last day of classes !! I have two more classes to go and can not wait until this day is over ! I did my whole history paper yesterday and it took me 8 hours, I was about to go crazy but once it was done I was happy. I have a couple of things left to do for this class, so I am going to finish them now so I do not have them to do over the weekend !

   The semester is finally winding down to the end, which is pretty exciting but I still have so much to do like papers, projects and studying !! This past weekend I had my nieces communion which was great. Her whole class of 20 made communion which made it a little long but in the end wasn't too bad. After the church the party was at a a place called Micheal's ; I believe they had over 50 people who attended. The food was great ! they also had a caricature and magician. I was so exited to be able to do a caricature drawing because I have been dying to do one for so long, so I made my boyfriend one do one with me in front of all the guests ; I think he was a little embarrassed but it came out cute!! Like I said this week is crunch time so tomorrow i am locking myself in my room all day and finished a research paper that is due on Thursday , talk about last minute !

So I took my Praxis and it actually wasn't as bad as I thought. There was a huge line when I arrived at the school so everyone was outside freezing. When they let us in we went to our assigned rooms and put us at desks, of course out of all the desks in the room; I got assigned the little tiny one which was so difficult to test on. I also forgot to mention that last week was my last week of observations and I was pretty sad about it because I'm going to miss the kids in the class, they were so cute. Hopefully I can go back there next semester for my observations!  Last night my 1 year old dog ate a whole bag of grapes , which are very toxic for dogs ! I was so nervous and had my mom call the vet, they said we had to make her throw them up and to give her 2 tablespoons of peroxide .. gross. But it worked and this morning my parents took her to the vet to make sure all was OK and they said she was fine. I was so nervous because i was reading how too many grapes can even kill them.. So if you have a dog don't feed them grapes !! This weekend is my nieces communion, her dress is so pretty. her favorite part about the day is her shoes , because they have a little heal on them, too funny. I will upload a picture of her in her dress next Tuesday for you all to see :)

This week went by very fast to me ! I had a lot of work due this week and not enough time to do it ! This weekend I am taking the Praxis, and I am very nervous. this is my first time taking it so I am not sure what to expect. I will fill you in next week about how it went. the semester is almost over which means it is time to cram with all last minute assignments ! I am taking a summer course though on Monday and Wednesday nights which I'm kinda not that excited about but summer classes usually go by pretty fast. I have class until 7 tonight , so after that I am definitely going home and relaxing.

    My vacation is over unfortunately :( I had a great time but it feels like the 10 days went by way to fast. The flight was not bad at all, It honestly took me about 10 minutes to check in and go through security; but that also stunk because I had to wait about 3 hours to board my plane. When I got there my brother picked me up in the jeep he rented for the day and took me back to the hotel. My family was so happy to see me; my nieces and nephews jumped on me screaming how happy they were.. which made me smile. The whole week was great; of course we ate a lot and I layed out on the beach like it was my job. We went out a couple nights after dinner but we were all so tired at around 9:00 from a long day in the sun we all just wanted to sleep. The day we left was Easter Sunday .. My mom set up an Easter egg hunt on the beach for the kids and put out baskets for them.
    Watching them run down on the beach in the morning was probably one of the highlights of this trip. During the week I found out that a 7th grader at the school I am observing at had passed away. Although I am in the 2nd grade there I really did now know the girl well but do remember seeing her around the hall. It is a very sad story about how she passed away and I feel bad for her family. The school is now having graving counselors come in and speak with students who are having a hard time. On a brighter note today I am going to see Titanic 3D which I had been dying to see since I got back. Titanic is my favorite movie and I probably have watched it about 20plus times. So exited to see how it will be in 3D so I will fill you in next week about what I thought about it.

Hi everyone ! I cant believe the change in weather this week from last, its insane. I was freezing today! Let's see .. well my family left this past Sunday for Aruba, all 12 of them. I am leaving this Friday and I can not wait to leave. I hate being alone because I get so nervous if anything happens because my family is thousands of miles away. Ive been so lonely this week; just myself and my dog hanging out and doing homework. Its also so difficult texting and calling back and fourth between myself and my mom since usually does not go through or arrives hours later. On Friday my best friend was suppose to come with me like every year, but she is unable to go and just told me two days ago which brought down my excitement a lot. Now I have to fly by myself and I am so nervous that I am going to get lost.. I hope I survive :| I figure I should just make the best out of it and have fun with my family, I'm sure my nieces and nephews will keep me company. When I return I will make sure to update about my vacation and add some pictures !

I hope everyone had a fantastic break ! I certainly did, although I observed the whole week, the teacher did not want me to do full days so I had half of the day to myself. I love the teacher I observe she is so nice. The week we had off was so nice and hot ! I went to the Ramapo park with my cousin and our dogs and also took a quick ride down the shore to my house. On St. Patrick's Day I went to the city with my boyfriend and our friends which was ALOT of fun. We left at 9 in the morning and stayed to about 3:30pm. We live about 20 minutes from the city but since it was crazy to drive in, we look the train which was not that bad. When we got there, there was people everywhere singing and cheering, it was so much fun! It was my first time at the parade which was definitely an experience !

Hope everyone had a good weekend! Monday was my first day of field observations, and I love every second of it. I am observing at Washington School in Lyndhurst; where I live.  The teacher I am observing is really nice and is letting me interact with the class. This is a 2nd grade class and their are 21 children. It is so funny when the kids are just sitting there staring at you for like 5 minutes and when I leave some students are like " I wish you never had to leave" and " I'm going to miss you " even though they know I will be back again that same week. Next week is break and although I will be observing I am pretty excited to be off from school, homework and exams; hoping this week goes by fast !! Does anyone have any fun plans for Spring Break ?

Finally my field placement teacher answered me back and said I can start on Monday! Even though I am probably so far behind my class, I am excited to start. This past weekend on Saturday my cheer leading team had a competition is Morris Plains. I am so proud of them because they place 2nd in a medium division when they are actually suppose to be competing in small. This week seems like it is going to be pretty hectic and its only Tuesday ! Yesterday I had my first exam of the semester and I think I did pretty well. Thursday I have an exam that I am so nervous about because the professor is kinda tough. Hopefully I do good ! Today is my friend Kelsey's 21st birthday, tomorrow night we are going out to dinner at the Shannon Rose. Even though I haven't seen some of my friends in a while due to the fact that some of them had a huge fight .. I am still excited to see everyone. After this class I have to rush to Lodi to make it in time for cheer leading practice then right after that we have to go the basketball teams state game, I feel like today is going to take forever .. Hopefully it goes by quick !

Hello everyone, Hope everyone had a great break! I am already looking forward to our long week break in March :). Over the break I had cheer leading practice and work , but has of tomorrow it will be my last day of working at my job, California Pizza Kitchen. I enjoyed the job and all, but the hours were not that great and plus I really want to start working with children more, other than babysitting. As for my field work, I am still waiting on the email from my field placement teacher, I hope she answers me soon! Have a good weekend !

   In my last post I told you all about my cheer leading team and the competition we were going to that weekend, well we went and placed 3rd out of 5. I was very proud of the girls considering the fact that we've had a lot of injuries this season causing us to not be able to practice to our full extent. We have another this weekend that is local so hopefully with all our practice this past week , we can shoot for 1st ! Giants also won!! It was a great game. I loved the commercials , my favorite was the M&M one. Yesterday I emailed the teacher i got placed with for observation and I am waiting to see what she writes back, and says when I can start to come in and observe; I am so excited to start ; and then I will be able to fill you in about my observations ! I hope everyone has a great Valentines Days !!

   Another week down! This week went by so fast; I can't believe it's already Thursday. This weekend I am pretty busy; tomorrow I am babysitting my niece and nephew for the day. I babysit a lot between my sister and my brother; I have five nieces and nephews all between the ages of 4 and 7. I will probably be talking about them a lot in this blog. Saturday I have a cheer-leading competition in Garfield that I will most likely be at all day. I am a cheer- leading coach for the high school I went to and once cheered for, Immaculate Conception. This is going to be their second competition and they have been working so hard since the summer for this so I hope they do great this weekend. I will update you next week on how we do! Sunday of course is going to be a big day, SUPERBOWL. I am very happy that the Giants are in it this year and it is definitely going to be a awesome game to watch. My favorite part are the Superbowl parties and watching the commercials; deciding who had the funniest one. What does everyone have planned for the game? I think I am going to my friend's house who is a huge giants fan, on top of that she is having a huge party with about 20 people attending ; can't wait. I hope everyone had a great weekend and GO GIANTS !

First Day

This is my first day of blogging so bare with me ... Today was the first day of classes since break and for me it was so hard getting out of bed this morning for my 8:30am class. I do like my schedule this semester and all my professors are nice so no complaining here. I am in my last class for the day so after this I am going home and napping !
